Deerlake Cheerleading 2026-2027 Tryouts:
Cheer Applications are available in the front office or printable document attached below.
Please note that a current sports physical is required in order to participate in any sport. Students will also be required to register in the Aktivate system. Your athlete will not be able to participate in clinics or tryouts unless they are registered in Aktivate and have submitted a tryout application.
Please wear black athletic wear and cheer shoes/closed-toe shoes to tryout. Hair must be pulled back, bows are optional. No jewelry, please!
Deerlake Cheerleading is a year-round sport with obligations August-March. Before trying out, please be prepared to commit a significant amount of time to the sport. Our team participates in 2-4 events per week, including practices before school. Absences are excused with a doctor’s note. Students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, 3s and 4s in conduct, and NO disciplinary action/behavior referrals. Any disciplinary action taken during the school year may result in removal from the team.
