2026 DMS Track & Field Team Announcement
Thank you to everyone who came out for track tryouts this week. We had over 100 boys and girls give their best effort, and Coach Watts and I were incredibly impressed by the determination, energy, and sportsmanship we saw from all of you.
Track and field is one of the most competitive sports at Deerlake, and unfortunately we cannot keep everyone on the team. For those who did not make the team this season, please know that we truly appreciate the effort you put in. Keep running, keep training, and we strongly encourage you to try out again next year. Growth, improvement, and persistence are what make great athletes.
To those who made the team this season — congratulations! We look forward to working with you and representing Deerlake with pride this season.
